Interdisciplinary Liturgy
Holy Mass, the most beautiful thing this side of heaven, is perhaps also the strangest and most difficult thing to understand. We invite you to a series of seminars.

Holy Mass, the most beautiful thing this side of heaven, is perhaps also the strangest and most difficult thing to understand. This year we will reflect on it in a series of seminars organized together with the editors of the quarterly Pressje.
In a series of monthly seminars we will try to look at the phenomenon of the Catholic liturgy from many different perspectives: theological, metaphysical, religious-studies, semiotic, psychoanalytical, theatrical, political and aesthetic. We will deal with sacrifice, ritual, transubstantiation, liturgical reforms and sacred art. The discussions will be based on texts published in the 2013 issue 32–33 of Pressje, “Corpus Christi”.
The first meeting will exceptionally take place in St. Thomas Hall at the Dominican Friary, 12 Stolarska Street, on Tuesday, 29.10.2013, at 6 p.m. Taking part in the discussion will be Tomasz Grabowski OP, Mateusz Przanowski OP, Fr. Robert Woźniak, Paweł Rojek and Michał Koza.
The following meetings will take place at 6 p.m. in the Stolarnia club at 6 Stolarska Street in Kraków. Those who register on our website will receive access to the electronic version of the texts discussed. Registration is not required to attend the meetings (admission free).
